About Us

Welcome to The Quilted Rose, a mother and daughter team of Kate Morris and Becky Wilson, and our IT specialist Tim Wilson.   We have always enjoyed embroidering, sewing, quilting and creating all things beautiful together, inspiring each other with our own unique strengths. 

Specialising in original and unique hand embroidery and patchwork kits, created by Kate’s love of drawing and Becky’s skilled eye for colour and layout; our shop has a beautiful range of exquisite fabrics, haberdashery and hand-made gifts.

Kate and Becky have been long-arm quilter’s for nearly twenty years. We quilt with an A1 Elite Platinum longarm quilting machine that has a state-of-the-art stitch regulator. This machine enables us to quilt exquisite designs that can be precision fitted to any space on your quilt. We offer many patterns to choose from. We specialise in custom quilting and have done many embroidered quilts for Faeries in my Garden. We also offer a large range of edge-to-edge designs.

When unable to find a design to suit a space, we now have the technology to draw and digitise our own custom designs.

The Quilted Rose has just started down the lines of long-arm quilting designs. As quilter’s we have not been able to always find the right design for the right space in a quilt, particularly for around embroidered and appliqued blocks. For this reason, we are developing our skills in this area to meet our needs. Some of our designs have been made to suit particular quilts for Faeries in my Garden. We only have a few designs to start with, but we are growing.
